Grand Prize Sweepstakes ("the Sweepstakes")

  1. Sweepstakes draw is February 28, 2020. Odds of winning are dependent on the number of entries.

  2. The information you have provided will only be received by Salute to Vienna/Attila Glatz Concert Productions and will not be shared with any other organization.

  3. No purchase necessary, and there are no shipping fees required of the winner.

  4. This sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of Canada, and the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is void where prohibited and in states/provinces where sweepstakes must be registered for less than $1000 USD.

  5. There are two (2) grand prizes to be won with a value of approximately $100 CAD each.  

  6. The contest will open on December 27, 2019 and will be promoted solely through Salute to Vienna New Year's Concerts. The contest will close on January 31, 2020. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm, EST, on January 31, 2020. Winners will be notified by e-mail by February 28, 2020. The winners' first names and cities of attendance will be announced in a subsequent Salute to Vienna newsletter. 

  7. Odds of winning this contest are based entirely on the number of entries. 

  8. Winners will be selected at random from the entries. A skill testing question must be correctly answered by Canadian winners to claim the prize. 

  9. We do not share or sell the information provided by contest entrants. We keep it for statistical and internal research purposes, and for contest record keeping.

  10. Entrants must be 18 years of age and older.

  11. To enter this sweepstakes without completing the survey, please send an email glatzconcerts@gmail.com with the subject line: Grand Prize Entry. Include your name and mailing address in the body of the email. No confirmation of receipt of your email will be sent.

  12. We acknowledge that we have the right to give this prize away and that we own or have been granted permission to use any images used to promote this contest. 

  13. No refunds or exchanges will be given for this prize. 

  14. The contest is run by Attila Glatz Concert Productions Inc. / Attila Glatz Concert Productions (USA), Inc. 

  15. This contest will be conducted in good faith and all efforts will be made to ensure its completion. Technical difficulties, such as power outages, internet failure, lost/dropped email messages, among other unforeseen challenges (technical or otherwise) may inhibit the contest from running properly. In this case, all effort will be made to keep the contest as fair and transparent as possible, and running on time. If it becomes impossible to conclude the contest, all effort will be made to notify all contest entrants of the details.

 

Rules for the Salute to Vienna Monthly Email Ticket Giveaway

  1. This contest is open to all residents of the United States and Canada, excluding the province of Quebec, and it is void where prohibited. 

  2. There is no cost or purchase necessary to enter this contest, and there are no shipping fees required of the winner.

  3. There is one (1) prize to be won each month of the year. The prize is a pair of (2) tickets to a performance of Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert which will take place between the dates of December 20 of the current year and January 15 of the following year. The location of the performance will be determined by the proximity or preference of the winning entrant of each monthly draw. Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert includes 20+ concerts over several days in major cities in both the United States and Canada. 

  4. No exchanges or refunds for the winning tickets will be granted, including if the concert is subsequently cancelled or delayed for reasons unforeseen by the producer, or for significant cast changes. 

  5. The tickets will have a dollar value of between approximately $30 and $150 CAD dollars each, depending on the venue, the tickets previously sold for the concert and the needs of the entrant. 

  6. All effort will be made to accommodate accessibility needs of winning contest entrants. 

  7. The contest will open on January 1 and will re-open on the first day of each month for 11 subsequent months.

  8. The contest will close each month on the first day of the month.

  9. The Contest will be promoted solely through the monthly promotional email sent by Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert.

  10. A winner will be notified by email by the 20th of the winning month. 

  11. The winner will be announced in a subsequent Salute to Vienna newsletter, which will include their first name, their last initial and the city where they will attend the Salute to Vienna concert. 

  12. The tickets will be held at the box office will call under the winning entrant's name. NOTE: Tickets will not be available from box offices to be mailed until closer to the concerts. Winners can expect to receive their tickets in the mail between November 1 and December 15. Winners are welcome to contact us: magdalenat@glatzconcerts.com at that time if they are concerned about their tickets. 

  13. We ask for contest entrants to share their name, phone number, email address and the city they wish to attend Salute to Vienna in. An entry is incomplete and void without these pieces of information. A winner will be selected at random from the complete contest entries.

  16. There is no age restriction to entering this contest. 

  17. A single person can enter multiple times.

The “Rules”

1. Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert Ticket Giveaway (the "Contest") starts and ends during the “Contest Period”. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Limit one (1) prize per household.
2. The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are completely released of all liability by each entrant in this Contest.  Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Contest Sponsors and not Twitter, Facebook or Instagram. To enter the Contest, you will need to sign up for a Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account if you don’t already have one. Signing up for an account is free. To sign up for a Twitter account, visit www.twitter.com and follow the onscreen instructions. To sign up for a Facebook account, visit www.facebook.com and follow the onscreen instructions. To sign up for an Instagram account, visit www.instagram.com and follow the onscreen instructions.
3.The Contest is sponsored by Attila Glatz Concert Productions Inc. [and any other partners] (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Contest Sponsors”).
4.ELIGIBLITY: To enter and to be eligible to win, entrant must be a legal resident of Ontario, Canada and be eighteen (18) years of age or older. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of the Contest Sponsors, their respective agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions, prize sponsor(s), promotional and advertising agencies and administrators (collectively, the “Contest Parties”), are ineligible to enter. 
5.TO ENTER the Contest during the Contest Period, you must have a valid personal Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram account (each an “Account”). In addition, eligible entrants (see above) must become a “follower” (each, a “Follower”) of the @salutetovienna Twitter, @salutetovienna Facebook and/or @glatzconcerts Instagram account in order to receive Contest-related notification messages (note: you can un-follow at any time after the Contest ends without impacting your chances of winning in this Contest). To enter the Contest, from your Account, send a tweet (each, a “Tweet”) on Twitter, or a post (each, a “Post”) on Facebook and/or Instagram during the Contest Period that includes: (i) the hashtag #salutetovienna (the “Hashtag”); and (ii) @salutetovienna or @glatzconcerts (the “Mention”). For greater certainty, your Tweet and/or Post must include a Mention to help ensure your Tweet and/or Post appears in Salute to Vienna's Mentions tab. If your Tweet and/or Post is submitted and received during the Contest Period (as determined by the Contest Sponsors in their sole and absolute discretion), you will be eligible to receive one (1) entry (the “Entry”). Your profile settings must be public for your entry to be validated. Use of any automated, script, macro, robotic or other program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in this Contest is prohibited and will automatically result in disqualification. Any Entry that does not follow the above format will be discarded and will not be eligible for entry in this Contest. Incorrect and/or incomplete Entries and Entries received outside the Contest Period, and/or Social Media Entries that contain obscene, offensive, or any language communicating messages inconsistent with the positive images to which Contest Sponsors wish to associate (all as determined by Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion) will be void. Limit of one (1) Entry per individual.  If it is discovered that you attempted to exceed this limitation, all of your Entries will be void. In the event of a dispute, Entries shall be deemed to be submitted by the "Authorized Account Holder" of the Account submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the person who is assigned to a Twitter/Facebook/Instagram account by www.twitter.com/www.facebook.com/www.instagram.com. An entrant/Follower may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the Account associated with the selected Entry. All Entries become the property of Contest Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Creating multiple Accounts in order to exceed the limits on entries permitted by these Rules may result in the disqualification of such entries from such Accounts.
6.All Entries must comply with the Terms of Service and Rules of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, available at www.twitter.com, www.facebook.com and/orwww.instagram.com. By submitting a Tweet and/or Post, you agree to be legally bound by these Rules.  If you opt to use Twitter, Facebook and/or Instagram via your wireless mobile device (which may only be available via participating wireless carriers and is not required to enter the Contest), standard text messaging and/or data rates may apply for each message sent or received from your handset according to the terms and conditions of your services agreement with your wireless carrier. Other charges may apply (such as normal airtime and carrier charges) and may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid account balance. Wireless carriers' rate plans may vary, and you should contact your wireless carrier for more information on messaging rate plans and charges relating to your participation in this Contest. Participation in this Contest by mobile device means that you understand that you may receive additional messages by mobile device relating to this Contest, including notifying you if you are the potential Prize winner (if applicable), which may be subject to charges pursuant to your carrier's rate plan. Check your wireless device’s capabilities for specific instructions.
7.PRIZES: There are prizes available to be won (each a “Prize”, collectively “Prizes”). Each Prize consists of a pair of tickets to [name of event], taking place on [date and time] to [time and time zone] at [location with street address] Approximate retail value of each Prize: [$xx] CAD.
8.Prizes must be accepted as awarded. The Prizes may not be sold, transferred and are not convertible to cash. Contest Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a Prize in whole or in part in the event that all or any component of the Prize is unavailable. Prize winner is solely responsible for all costs not expressly described herein (including, without limitation, transportation to the screening and accommodations).  The choice and location of the tickets are at the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion. The tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer.
9.DRAW: On [date] at approximately [time with time zone], a random draw for the Prizes will take place at Attila Glatz Concert Productions, Toronto, Ontario from among all eligible Entries received during the Contest Period. The first 1,000 entries will each be eligible to win a Prize. The odds of winning a Prize will depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Attila Glatz Concert Productions, acting reasonably, will attempt to contact each potential Prize winner to notify potential winner that he or she may have won a Prize within one (1) business day after the draw.  Each potential Prize winner is solely responsible for monitoring his/her Account for such notification messages.  In the event that a/the potential winner does not respond to the Contest Sponsors’ notification message as outlined in the notification within one (1) business day after the draw, he or she will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be drawn at the Contest Sponsors’ sole discretion. Proof of identification must be provided upon request.
10.Proof of identification must be provided upon request. In order to be declared a Prize winner, a potential winner must first correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill testing question administered by Attila Glatz Concert Productions. Before being awarded a Prize, each potential winner will be required to sign and return within the time stipulated by the Contest Sponsors, a full release and indemnity form stating that, among other things, he/she has read, understood and complied with these Rules, grants all consents required, agrees to be available and to participate in publicity and/or promotions related to the Contest and/or the Contest Sponsors and/or similar matters, authorizes the Contest Sponsors to broadcast, publish, disseminate and otherwise use his/her name, city/town/village and province/territory of residence, photograph, likeness, sobriquet and voice, in connection with any promotion and/or publicity, and/or for general news, entertainment and/or information purposes at no additional compensation to the potential winner, beyond the awarding of or participation in the Prize, accepts the Prize as offered and releases the Contest Parties and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability of any kind arising out of the potential winner’s participation in this Contest and receipt and use of the Prize. In the event that a potential winner does not comply with all the provisions as contemplated in these Rules, Contest Sponsors shall have the right at their sole and absolute discretion to disqualify such potential winner, and draw an alternate potential winner, and the Contest Sponsors shall be fully and completely released and discharged from any liability or responsibility in this regard.
11.By entering this Contest, the entrants and participants automatically agree to accept and abide by these Rules. All decisions of the Contest Sponsors with respect to any aspect of this Contest, including without limitation the eligibility of entrants and entries, are final and binding on all entrants in all matters as they relate to this Contest.
12.The Contest Sponsors assume no responsibility for garbled, lost, late, delayed, destroyed or misdirected entries, mail, voice messages, e-mail or any computer errors or malfunctions. No correspondence will be entered into except with entrants requesting Rules by mail or requesting the names of the Prize winner (for which a self-addressed, postage paid envelope must be included). Contest Sponsors do not assume any responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, seeding or printing errors, lost, delayed or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone or computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof. Entry materials or data that have been tampered with or altered are void. If for any reason, in the opinion of the Contest Sponsors, in their sole discretion, the Contest is not capable of running as originally planned, or if the administration, security, fairness, integrity or the proper conduct of the Contest is corrupted or adversely affected, including by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond their control, Contest Sponsors reserve their right (at their sole and absolute discretion) to cancel, terminate, modify, amend, extend or suspend the Contest, and/or select a winner from previously received eligible Entries. Contest Sponsors reserve their right to modify the Rules without materially affecting the terms and conditions hereof. The Contest Sponsors reserve their right in their sole discretion to disqualify any individual they find to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Rules or otherwise in a disruptive manner. Any attempts to deliberately damage the Contest website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made the Contest Sponsors reserve their right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent of the law. Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Contest including any damage to an entrant’s computer equipment, system, software or any combination thereof, as a result of their participation in this Contest.
13.Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. By entering this Contest each entrant consents to the collection, use and distribution of his or her personal information (information that identifies an entrant as an individual, such as home telephone number, age and home address) by the Contest Sponsors for the purposes of implementing, administering and fulfilling this Contest. Contest Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering this Contest. By entering the Contest, entrants consent to the manner of collection, use and disclosure of personal information as set out in Salute to Vienna New Year's Concert and Attila Glatz Concert Productions Privacy Policies, which are available at glatzconcerts.com/privacy-policy and salutetovienna.com/privacy-policy. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Contest Sponsors should be addressed to Attila Glatz Concert Productions at 77 Bloor Street West, Toronto, M5A1M2.
14.In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including, but not limited to, point of sale, television, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
15.All intellectual property, including but not limited to trade-marks, trade-names, logos, designs, promotional materials, web pages, source codes, drawings, illustrations, slogans and representations are owned by the Contest Sponsors and/or their affiliates. All rights are reserved. Unauthorized copying or use of any copyrighted material or intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.
