Christoph Campestrini received his musical education in New York at the Juilliard School and at Yale University. In 2016, he was appointed Kapellmeister at the prestigious Wiener Hofmusikkapelle, where he conducted the Wiener Philharmoniker, the Vienna Boys Choir, and the male choir of the Wiener Staatsoper. In addition, he is Music Director of the Klosterneuburg Opera Festival in Vienna. Maestro Campestrini has appeared with 200 orchestras on five continents, including the symphony orchestras of London, Berlin, Moscow, Mexico City, Houston, and Vancouver, as well as the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra, and National Symphony Orchestra of Taiwan.

Peggy Steiner comes from a musical family: her grandfather was General Manager of the Staatsoperette Dresden, and her mother and grandmother were prima donnas in Berlin (Metropol Theater) and Dresden. Ms. Steiner studied at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler, and took masterclasses with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. She has performed leading roles in Der Freischütz, La clemenza di Tito, Die Fledermaus, and the title role inCountess Maritza and Smetana’s Bartered Bride, and has appeared with the Komische Oper Berlin, the Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden, the Berliner Philharmoniker, and at Konzerthaus Berlin, the Dresdener Musikfestspiele, and the Rheingau Musik Festival.

Michael Heim began his performance career in 1998, making his debut at Theater St. Gallen in Switzerland. He has since appeared in many of the world’s finest concert venues, including the Opernhaus Zürich, Lincoln Center, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Staatsoper Hamburg, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and at the Salzburger Festspiele. During his career, Mr. Heim has performed more than 40 operetta roles and has performed in Mozart’s Magic Flute, Verdi’s La traviata, Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Wagner’s Siegfried, Richard Strauss’ Salome, and Beethoven’s Fidelio.
