Tilmann Unger

Tilmann Unger studied in Freiburg and Würzburg, Germany, where he began his career as an ensemble member of the Mainfranken Theater Würzburg. He later became a member of the soloist ensembles of Theater Augsburg, and the state theatres at Gärtnerplatz and Nürnberg. Since 2007, Mr. Unger has performed with the state operas and theatres of Vienna, Graz, Linz, and Innsbruck in Austria, as well as Dresden, Leipzig, Mannheim, Hannover, Wiesbaden, and Karlsruhe in Germany. His repertoire includes Siegmund (Die Walküre), the title role from Parsifal, Tassilo (Countess Maritza) and Eisenstein (Die Fledermaus). As a concert singer, he has toured across Canada, the USA, and Asia.
