Gergely Boncsér

Gergely Boncsér studied at the Egressy Béni Music School and began his career in 2003 as a chorus member of the National Theatre of Miskolc. He made his debut in a gala performance of Interoperett at the Budapest Operetta Theatre in 2008, and won the Hungarian State Opera’s scholarship, becoming a member of the opera studio. Mr. Boncsér’s first leading role was in 2009, as Rodolfo in La bohème with the National Theatre of Szeged. He has won several awards, including the Ferenc Lehár International Operetta Competition in 2010 and the József Simándy International Singing Competition in 2015.
