Last updated 2016: Antoine Bélanger is a former member of the Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal. He performs regularly with the operas of Québec, Montréal, Ottawa, Calgary, Saskatoon, Vancouver, and Opéra Éclaté in Midi-Pyrénées, France. His numerous opera roles include Ismaele (Nabucco), Cassio (Otello), Alfredo (La traviata), Rodolfo (La bohème), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), and the title role in Gounod’s Faust.

 

Mr. Bélanger has appeared as a guest soloist in concert and oratorio performances with ensembles and orchestras, including the Orchestre Métropolitain, McGill Chamber Orchestra, and the symphony orchestras of Montréal, Trois Rivières, and Longueuil. His repertoire includes Verdi’s Requiem, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Coronation Mass and Requiem, and Puccini’s Messa di Gloria.

 

Upcoming is a return engagement in Tourcoing, France, and performances in Carmen with Opéra de Rennes, France, and Dialogues des Carmélites with Opéra de Montréal.
