Last updated 2017: Newfoundland native Adam Luther is a graduate of the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio, and has performed in a variety of opera roles throughout North America, including Tamino in Magic Flute (Pacific Opera Victoria), Rodolfo in La bohème (Minnesota Opera), and Handel’s Messiah (Edmonton Symphony Orchestra). He has performed with Pacific Opera Victoria in Die Fledermaus and Barber’s Vanessa, and with the Vancouver Opera in Madama Butterfly. Mr. Luther has appeared in Robert LePage’s production of Stravinsky’s short operas with the Canadian Opera Company, l’Opéra de Québec, and the Brooklyn Academy of Music and next season, will appear as Lensky in Eugene Onegin with Calgary Opera, and Alfredo in La traviata with Manitoba Opera.
