Lara Ciekiewicz

Last Updated 2017: Lara Ciekiewicz is a versatile soprano at home in opera and musical theatre. In 2016/17, she was Maria in Sound of Music with Opera on the Avalon and Countess in Marriage of Figaro with Vancouver Opera. Next season, she will perform the title role of Jenůfa with Pacific Opera Victoria as well as Tatyana in Eugene Onegin with Calgary Opera. Ms. Ciekiewicz was featured in the world premiere of John Estacio’s Ours at Opera on the Avalon, and has performed with the Winnipeg Symphony in Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 and Mahler’s Symphony No. 2. Additional credits include Countess Maritza and Gypsy Princess with Toronto Operetta Theatre, and Così fan tutte with l’Atelier Lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal.
