Oliver Ostermann

Oliver Ostermann studied singing, piano, composition, and conducting at the Vienna Conservatory. He served as musical director at Bühne Baden and has appeared as a guest conductor with European opera houses and orchestras including the Volksoper Wien, Hofer Symphoniker, Oper Graz, and with Canadian symphonies in Calgary and Edmonton. As a composer, he has written music for theatre, film, television, and live concerts. He recently composed a musical for the Tiroler Landestheater and a children’s opera for Theater Chemnitz. Maestro Ostermann has composed for the Wiener Symphoniker, the Radio Symphonie Orchester Wien, the Vienna Boys Choir, and the Wiener Festwochen.
