Christoph Campestrini

Christoph Campestrini received his musical education at The Juilliard School and Yale University. In 2016, he was appointed Kapellmeister Austrian conductor Christoph Campestrini received his musical education at The Juilliard School and Yale University, developing an international career that has taken him to more than 200 orchestras on five continents. In 2016, he was appointed Kapellmeister of the prestigious Wiener Hofmusikkapelle, where his work has included collaborations with the Vienna Philharmonic, Vienna Boys’ Choir, and the male choir of the Vienna State Opera. His conducting engagements have ranged from major symphony orchestras in London, Berlin, Moscow, Houston, and Vancouver to leading ensembles in Salzburg, Seoul, and Taiwan. Equally at home in opera and concert repertoire, Maestro Campestrini is recognized for his versatility and broad musical perspective.
