In 2018, Patricia will perform in Vancouver and Saskatoon.

What do you get out of doing a concert series like Salute to Vienna?

Bringing a part of the “Old World” to the "New World" makes me feel like an ambassador of Viennese music. I get such wonderful responses from the audiences in North America: they are people who either associate their roots with this music or they just love this kind of music that is rarely played in America.

How do you spend your time when you aren’t working?

I'm always working! But when it really happens that I have spare time I do Nordic walking through vineyards, or meet with friends at cafés and enjoy the wonderful city of Vienna.

Favourite city?

Well it's always the city I’m currently working in. It’s special because I’m there, and every city has it’s own special audience. But, as it’s said in The Wizard of OZ, "There’s no place like home!” and I love working in Vienna because it’s home.

What's next in your career?

Besides my engagement at the Viennese Volksoper, I will play the main female character in a musical called Santa Maria that has world premiere in Vienna in the MuseumsQuartier and later on goes on to Deutsches Theatre in Munich.
