Austrian choirmaster and conductor Bernhard Schneider grew up and studied in Vienna. After four years as musical assistant at the Wiener Staatsoper, he held the position of opera chorus director at both the Nationaltheater Mannheim, and Opera North in Great Britain, and appeared at the Salzburger Festspiele and the Festspiel Baden-Baden. Currently Maestro Schneider is the chorus master of the Oper Graz, where he regularly conducts ballet, concerts, and musicals. He has conducted the Baroque ensembles Prisma and Capella Leopoldina, as well as the Savaria Symphony Orchestra of Hungary, the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, and the Grazer Philharmonisches Orchester.
